Courtcraft are proud to have been part of the team that constructed a multi-million pound redevelopment at Merchant Taylors’ Primary School, Stanfield. The two year, two-phase project undertaken by Eric Wright Construction, is part of an overall 10 year development strategy, the next stage of which is already being planned.

The school has high profile sporting links as the launch of the multi-phase construction programme was marked by an official steel signing ceremony in 2013 by Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard. Courtcraft continued to develop the sporting theme at the school by installing the sports flooring with a highly professional job.

The sports hall now has a new Boen Arenaflex Olympia Beech floor on battens and cradles with badminton, mini-netball, hockey and football line markings. During the installation the school remained fully operational and Courtcraft were part of a team that made all efforts to make sure there was no disruption to the school day.

Mrs Abila Pointing MBE DL, the High Sheriff of Merseyside, officially opened the multi-million pound redevelopment which has now been fully operational since the beginning of the new school term in January 2015.
Thomas Smith, MD of Courtcraft, says ‘’Education is an important sector for our business and we hope the pupils enjoy exercising in the new sports hall’’

Neil Summerton, Project Manager at Eric Wright Construction offered his support by saying, ‘’ It is with great pleasure that we thank you and all of your team for the effort and care undertaken whilst working on the project and in particular the manner in which the challenges of working in and around a busy school have embraced’’

Miss Julie Yardley, Head of Merchant Taylors’ Primary School, Stanfield added “The staff, pupils and parents are absolutely thrilled with the new facilities.”
